How much is too much?

I don’t indulge in very much.  Obviously the Bible speaks to us about those things in moderation, and I’m a firm believer in that.

But I have one question for you:

How much chocolate is too much???  Especially when one week out of the month most women eat a looooot of of it……

Just wondering what you think?

  1. When you get a chocolate hangover (sweets headache), you’ve probably had too much. I don’t think I’ve found that upper limit yet, test runs continue. 😉

  2. I saw your blog by accident and just wanted to say that it is really cool to see other believers that are blogging.
My chocolate desires only come once a month… good for me, bad for my twins… they love it!
    Thanks for sharing! God bless!

  3. Yep as long as you don’t make yourself sick. I flat refuse to make my homemade fudge because I know (especially being pregnant) I would eat the whole 13X9 pan 🙂

  4. Can “too much” and “chocolate” even be in the same sentence? I thought I had a problem when I was in the US, now that I’m in the UK– oh my. I never knew that Britain had such amazing chocolate. You did a lot of traveling (moving)– where did you find your best?

  5. My rule is if I feel the need to be “unwell” I’ve over done it…but it takes a lot of chocolate to do that. But really I don’t think “too much” and “chocolate” should be used in the same sentence.

P.S. I’m sure there are exceptions to the rule too. I’m hoping that chocolate is one of them.

P.P.S. I’m going to be adding your blog to my blog list ASAP.

  6. It depends on the chocolate. If it’s cheap chocolate, any is too much. If it’s good chocolate, there’s no such thing as too much.

Of course, bear in mind that this is coming from a woman who drinks homemade hot cocoa instead of coffee. 😉

  7. Ain’t that the truth. My mom bought these Dollar General Chocolate Bunnies for us at Easter, and they taste like granulated sugar coated with cocoa. I can only take a couple bites before shuddering.

  8. hostage took my answer.

Girl, it is almost wrong to use the words “too much” and “chocolate” in the same sentence.

BTW, I’m slowly coming back to life…it has been a whirlwind here. I am so sorry…

  9. I’m probably not one to give advice because I eat chocolate ice-cream almost daily, though that one week I do crave & usually eat more than the rest of the month. lol
